Limited competition winner to provide an innovation centre, linking into the existing centre building via a lightweight air conditioned bridge.

The Oxford Science Park is a science and technology park located on the southern edge of the city of Oxford, England. It was officially opened in 1991 and is owned by Magdalen College, Oxford. The park maintains strong links with the nearby University of Oxford and currently contains just over 60 companies.

The Whitehead Building was the first extension to the Magdalen Centre. It was constructed in 2002

The facility was designed to expand upon the success of The Magdalen Centre and offers extensive laboratory incubator accommodation. The building is named after mathematician Professor Henry Whitehead, a fellow of Magdalen College.

The Magdalen Centre Building was the first property to be developed on The Oxford Science Park in 1991, with the vision being to curate an incubator hub to promote the growth of businesses in the life science sector. It has become a thriving hub and focal point for the Park with its community focus and amenity offering.

The building predominantly provides office and lab suites, which are let on flexible all-inclusive licence agreements as well as additional space for meeting rooms and touchdown points. The building also provides hospitality and conference hire facilities and is the de-facto meeting point within The Oxford Science Park.
